Where & when does the church meet?
Our church currently meets every Sunday at 10.30am.
If it's your first visit then it's probably best to turn up around 15 minutes before the start, but don’t worry if you are late we will find you a seat.
You will find us next to the Co-op at the north end of the village centre. If you are driving there is a public car park which is a two minute walk and is charged at a flat rate of £1 on Sundays. For directions to reach us please see the
find us page.
You'll be greeted at the door by our welcome team who will give you any information you require about the church and a copy of the Tab News sheet.
Morning Service
Our morning service starts at 10:30am and finishes at approx 11:45. On a typical Sunday morning we start by worshipping God together through song, prayer and family time before the children go out to their
iTab groups; there is provision for baby’s right through to teenagers. After the morning service tea, coffee and biscuits are served in the hall, with plenty of time to chat.
Our address is:
Lancing Tabernacle Evangelical Free Church
105 North Road
Lancing
West Sussex
BN15 9BB
You can see a map on our
find us page.
What happens to the children at church?
We have a fantastic programme for the children at the church called iTab. Children stay with their parents at the start of the service as we worship (sing songs!) together for the first part of the morning. Someone will announce when the children need to go to their programme.
What should I wear?
Wear whatever you feel comfortable in. We are an informal church and accept people as they are.
Do I have to give money?
No, we do have a collection, but this is primarily for our church members to support the work of the church. Please don’t be embarrassed to let the bag pass by!
Are there baby changing facilities?
Yes. Facilities are available at the rear of the building: please ask the welcome team for more information.
Disabled people?
We aim to be an all-inclusive church; our premises are wheelchair accessible, and we can make provision for parking on the forecourt to allow easy access. There is a fully wheelchair accessible toilet and a special ramp entrance into the church and level access into the hall at the rear. If you wish to discuss any specific needs, please contact the church office. We also have a loop for hearing aid users.
Is it just Sundays?
Absolutely not! There is something happening almost every day here at the Tab. Evening clubs run on a Wednesday during term time catering for small children through to teens. We have a toddler group on Wednesday mornings, a Widows Support Group every other Friday and much more. Feel free to browse this site for more information. Any special events can be found on the
news page.
Can I arrange a meeting with the pastor or one of the leaders?
Yes, if you can't get to see anyone during the service then
contact us and we will set this up for you.
I have more questions; how can I get in touch and ask them?
Please feel free to contact us.
