Our first “Staff Day”

We have our first staff day on Tuesday 1st December to get to know each other and learn from God about partnership in the gospel.
Here’s how we’ll be using the time for those who are interested. We’d love your prayers.
Timetable:
9.30am: Coffee and croissants
10am: Philippians 1: gospel priorities in ministry
11am: Tab mission statement
11.30am: Prayer walk (around Lancing)
12.15am: Lunch (joined by Richard Brunton)
1pm: Philippians 2: gospel character in ministry
1.45pm: Leadership structure, staff meetings, diary planning
2.15pm: Prayer
If you wanted to do the same Bible studies as we’ll be doing the questions are below.
Philippians 1 study:
Q1. What sort of relationship did Paul have with them and how might that speak to us as a team? (v1-11)
Q2. What priorities did Paul have in the face of hardship and how does that challenge us? (v12-26)
Q3. How could we describe what partnership in the gospel means? (v5, v27)
Philippians 2 study:
Consider verses 1-11, 12-18 and 19-30. In each:
Q1. What character is called for?
Q2. Why is this essential for good partnership in the gospel (as a staff team, and with the rest of the church)?
Q3. What encouragement does God give us to help us grow in these?
