Sundays at the Tab
Sunday is the best day of the week
Our 10:30am service is simple and informal and normally runs for just over an hour. People wear anything from T-shirts to suits. You are welcome to bring kids of any age.
Some of the things we do:
-
Share news – because we’re a family.
-
Sing – because we love God.
-
Confess sin – because we don’t want to pretend, we’re anything but people in need of grace.
-
Look at the Bible – because that’s how we listen to God.
-
Pray – to ask God for his help.
We might have a baptism or take the Lord’s supper to celebrate Jesus’ rescue.
We have coffee afterwards to take real time together.
Do I have to believe anything?
No, all are welcome. You won’t be asked to join in with anything that you don’t want to. Come and just listen in and feel free to ask any questions you have.
What about disabilities?
We aim to be an all-inclusive church; we have an accessible ramp, and toilets (which can be used throughout the service). Our welcome team would love to bring you a more comfortable chair or help with a large print Bible. If you struggle to get to church, we may be able to provide some lifts. We also have a loop for hearing aid users. If you wish to discuss any specific needs, please contact the church office.
Young people
We love having the noise of lively children – so don’t worry!
We want young people to love Sunday mornings. To have fun, be taken seriously, and to know Jesus. Young people stay in for the first part of the service and then head through to their groups:
Creche (0-3s)
Toys, stories, snacks, song time… Even at the youngest age God can be at work. Parents can stay or leave children with our experienced team and join the service.
Children (4-10s)
Bible, craft, crazy games… We want our young ones to have a fun setting to learn about Jesus and take steps in their discipleship.
Youth (11-15s)
A relaxed setting for teenagers to dig deeper into the Bible, ask questions, grow.
